Jacob was born the son of Joseph and Nancy Ann (Merritt) Boughner. On 6 March 1845 he married Susan Collins the daughter of Mannas and Caharine Susan Collins, who come from Ireland. Jacob's sister married the brother of Jacobs's wife. Jacob and Susan had 10 children: Leroy, James, Amos, an infant girl, Thomas, Caroline, John Warren, William J., Catharine, and Nancy Matilda. I haven't found where he is buried yet. In the death certificate for his son William J. Boughner it has that William is a Jr. and they have his father's name as William J. Boughner Sr. They have no name for his Mom but know she was from Ireland. Could his Dad Jacob's full name be William Jacob Boughner Sr.?
