CRISCILLIS, EDWARD (SONNY) - age 74, of Harriman, formerly of Cincinnati,
Ohio, passed away Wednesday, April 7, 1999, at Roane Medical Center,
Harriman, following a lengthy illness. He was born January 20, 1925, in
Verda, Ky., son of Margie Robinson Criscillis and the late Edward Matthew
Criscillis. He served in the US Marine Corps in WWII. Retired machinist from
Greys in Cincinnati, Ohio. Preceded in death by: father, Edward Matthew
Criscillis, Sr.; wife, Elsie Criscillis; brother-in-law, Douglas Hester.
Survivors: mother, Margie Criscillis of Kingston; sisters, Jacqueline Hester
of Kingston, Eileen and husband, Jack Napier of Laura, Ohio; brother and
sister-in-law, Bill and Helen Criscillis of Cincinnati, Ohio; niece, Cindy
McCord of Kingston; nephew and wife, Keith and Valerie Hester of Knoxville;
special sister-in-law and nephews, Peggy Poland, James and Jason Poland, who
cared for him lovingly during his illness; host of nieces, nephews and
cousins. Funeral 8 p.m. Friday at Kyker Funeral Home Chapel in Harriman with
Rev. Edsel West officiating. Interment 10 a.m. Saturday at Roane Memorial
Gardens with military honors by Roane Co. Memorial Honor Guard.
