Irene Tabor, age 83, of Hot Springs, died Wednesday, August 27, 2003.

She was born on October 19, 1919 at Sims, Arkansas, the daughter of Harvey Isaac Foster and Bessie Curry Foster. On November 21, 1939, she was married to her husband of 59 years, Thomas Lee Tabor who preceded her in death on August 6, 1999. She was also preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, J.D. Foster, Pete Foster, Bill Foster and one sister, Bonnie Counts.

She was Pentecostal in her faith and was a homemaker.

She is survived by four sons and four daughters-in law, Morris and Lou Tabor of Hot Springs, Bobby and Novelyn Tabor of Fort Worth, Texas, Ricky and Billie Tabor of Midwest City, Oklahoma and Ronny and Mary Tabor of Hot Springs; two daughters, Patsy Sue Tabor of Hot Springs and Betty Bonello of Fort Worth, Texas; two brothers and one sister-in law, Pat Foster of McKinney, Texas and Roy and Laura Foster of Hot Springs; two sisters, Ruth Breakfield of Fort Worth, Texas and Maxine Barkman of Hot Springs; 14 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, August 30, 2003 in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Wes Bennett officiating.

Interment will be in the Macedonia Cemetery near Pencil Bluff under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home of Hot Springs.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Friday evening.

Pallbearers will be Paul Tabor, Michael Brock, Tony Bonello, Sam Bonello, William Lowe and Kurt Hardlicka.

The family will be at 932 Pittman Road.
