*J.D. lied about his age as he got older to convince younger women to marry him. He actually shows up in the 1850 U.S. Census as being 1 year old. I feel that his real birthday is 1 April 1849 ... regardless of what it says on his gravestone. Jeremiah Dixon, Sr is my third great uncle. Please consider adding a note that he may have been born before the DOB listed on his gravestone.
