Patty Piper, born Jan 12, 1787, in the Dracut, Massachusetts records is our Martha. Her parents, Samuel & Hannah Piper moved the family from Dracut, Mass. to Rumney, N.H. sometime before 1809.[Their son, Samuel, had three children born in Rumney; the oldest born in 1809]. Martha, her husband, parents, and sisters Salla Craig, Harriet Craig, & Marcy Whitney are all buried in the same section of Highland South Cemetery, Rumney, N.H. Martha's brother, Simon F. Piper, had at least 5 of his 7 children born in Rumney, N.H.
