She attended high school in Elgin, Okla. She was a member of Elk River Baptist Church, Grove. Okla. She enjoyed reading, sewing and cooking.
On Oct. 15, 1933, she married Harry Bruce Maxwell in Porter Hill, Okla. He died in 1998. Survivors include: sons, Jerry Bruce, Grove, Ok., and David W., Greenwich, RI.; five grandchildren; four greatgrandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Ellis Family Funeral Home Chapel, Grove, Okla., with Pastor Mark Hester presiding.
