BUHLER- Graveside service for Harry and Stella Maxwell will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 15, 2009, in Buhler East Cemetery, with Pastor Wayne Johnson presiding.
Buhler Mortuary, Buhler, is in charge of arrangements.

Hutchinson NewsGROVE, Okla. - Stella Maye Maxwell, 96, died March 22, 2009, at Grove Nursing Center, Grove, Okla. She was born Feb. 10, 1913, in Silo, Okla., to Elzy and Ollie Jane Brantley. She attended high school in Elgin, Okla. She was a member of Elk River Baptist Church, Grove. Okla. She enjoyed reading, sewing and cooking.
On Oct. 15, 1933, she married Harry Bruce Maxwell in Porter Hill, Okla. He died in 1998. Survivors include: sons, Jerry Bruce, Grove, Ok., and David W., Greenwich, RI.; five grandchildren; four greatgrandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Ellis Family Funeral Home Chapel, Grove, Okla., with Pastor Mark Hester presiding. The daughter of Elzy and Ollie Jane Brantley, was born on February 10, 1913 in Silo, Oklahoma. She attended high school in Elgin, Oklahoma. She was united in marriage to Harry Bruce Maxwell on October 15, 1933 in Porter Hill, Oklahoma. Harry preceded Stella in death in 1998. Stella enjoyed reading, sewing, cooking and was a member of the Elk River Baptist Church of Grove, Oklahoma.

Stella was preceded in death by her parents and her husband. She is survived by her two sons, Jerry Bruce Maxwell of Grove, Oklahoma, and David W. Maxwell of Greenwich, Rhode Island, five grandchildren, four great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Thursday, March 26, 2009 at the Ellis Family Funeral Home Chapel in Grove, Oklahoma with Pastor Mark Hester officiating.
