ASHLAND, AL -- Funeral services for James Samuel Adams Jr., 39, of Ashland were Tuesday, May 3, 1994, at 2 p.m. at Benefield Funeral Home Chapel in Ashland, with Rev Bill Parker officiating. Burial was in Ashland City Cemetery.
Mr. Adams died Sunday, May 1, 1994 at Carraway Methodist Medical Center in Birmingham. He was a native and lifelong resident of Clay County. He was a stockholder in Southland Manufacturing Company in Ashland and a member of First United Methodist Church of Ashland.
He is survived by his wife, Donna J. Adams of Ashland; mother, Kathryn Adams of Ashland; two nephews, Logan and Erik Johnson of Ashland.
Pallbearers were Rodney Saxon, Jeff Sparks, Rick Whatley, Billy Walker, Byran Birdsall and Mike Howard.
Benefield Funeral Home of Ashland was in charge of arrangements.
