Sallie Lee (Sanders) Jarrett was born on October 26, 1867 in Tennessee, the daughter of Parham Logan Sanders (1830–1915) and Martha H (Cropper) Sanders (1833–1913).
A life-long resident of Davidson County, she was married about 1883 to William James "Will" Jarrett (ca 1861-ca 1905).
A member of Mount View Baptist Church and living on Rural Route 2 out of Antioch in Davidson County, Sallie was 94 years old, a widow and had arteriosclerosis when she died on February 21, 1962 at Davidson County Hospital, where she had been for almost six months.
Survivors included daughters Mrs E G Davenport, Mrs Claude Waldrop and Mrs Walter Wooten of Nashville, sons W J Jarrett of Nashville, L A Jarrett of Louisville, Kentucky and J Frank Jarrett of Barstow, California, twelve grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and five 2nd-great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services were held at Ellis & Kidd Funeral Home, and burial was on February 23rd in Woodlawn Memorial Park, Nashville.
