Glover Middlebrooks, 73, longtime resident of Trenton before moving to Oklahoma, died October 2 in Lawton, OK. He was born Oct. 10, 1934 in Kathleen, GA to Eugene Middlebrooks and Julia (Chapman) Middlebrooks. He retired from the U.S. Postal Service. He also served in the U.S. Army. Mr. Middlebrooks was a lover of fishing and good food. His children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren were his pride and joy. Survivors include his daughter Pamela Baker; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Darrin Middlebrooks, Keith Middlebrooks and his wife Monica Middlebrooks, Christopher Middlebrooks and his wife Tieshau Middlebrooks; 15 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Ethel Hardison and Annie Mae Middlebrooks; and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Lizzie English, Rosa L. Jackson, Mary Bryant, Cora Lee Moore and brother Mark Middlebrooks. Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Friday at the Hughes Funeral Home, 324 Bellevue Ave., Trenton. NJ.
