Robert Thomas Edwards, aged 87, of RD 2, Wampum, died in the McGrew Nursing Home, near Ellwood City, at 11:40 p.m. on Monday. He had been ill for one year.
Born in Fairview, O., April 15, 1866, a son of Huey(?) and Anna Williams Edwards. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Wampum Pentecostal church. His wife Mrs. Anna Edwards, died in 1951.
Surviving are his children: Mrs. Mary Dunn, Austintown, O.; C.A. Edwards, Niles, O.; Mrs. Lettie McKinney, this city; R.T. Edwards, Warren, O.; Mrs. Alice Gray, Whittier, Calif.; Mrs. Anna McElroy, Newton Falls, O.; Mrs. Leona Young and George H. Edwards, Beaver Falls; Mrs. Margaret Stevenson, Pico, Calif.; mrs. Eleanor Rainey, this city; Woodreow W. Edwards, RD 2, Wampum, and Roy Edwards, RD 1 New Galilee.
The body has been removed to the Marshall funeral home in Wampum where friends may call today from 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be held at the funeral home on Thursday at 2:30 p.m. Interment will be in Clinton Cemetery.
