Mr. Aikens
VALLEY -- Mr. Bonnie G. Aikens, 83, of Valley died Saturday, Nov. 25, 1995, at U. A. B. Hospital in Birmingham.
Funeral services were held Monday, Nov. 27 at 4 p.m. at Lanett Church of the Nazarene with the Revs. Robert Huff, Floyd Aikens and Jerry Clins officiating. Burial followed in Resthaven Memorial Gardens in Lanett.
Mr. Aikens is survived by his wife, Annie Laura Aikens of Valley; two daughters, Dot Burmbeloe and Jean Brooks, both of Lanett; his son, James Glyn Aikens of Valley; his brother, Hooper Aikens of Shilo; his sister, Winnie Hay Penton; eight grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Born Sept. 1, 1912, in Randolph County, Mr. Aikens attended Lanett Church of the Nazarene. He was a retired employee of WestPoint Pepperell's Langdale Mill.
Johnson-Brown Service Funeral Home in Valley handled arrangements.
