Mr. Brossett was a lifelong resident of the Coast and was a retired fisherman. He was Lutheran.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Grace Brossett; a brother, Jesse Brossett; and three sisters, Hazel Hebert, Bennie Hardy and Lorraine Bell.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Louise Brossett; three daughters, Gail Waltman, Donna Bingman, both of Gulfport, and Michelle Brossett of Natchez; two sisters, Alberta Furney of Biloxi and Henrietta Lois Wilson of Ocean Springs; two brothers William E. Brossett Sr. of Ocean Springs and Donald Lee Brossett Sr. of Biloxi; and 12 grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 9 to 10 a.m. today at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes in Biloxi. A processional will leave the Howard Avenue Chapel at 10 a.m. for a 10:30 a.m. graveside service at Wilson Cemetery in Vancleave.
