Mrs. Bobbie Earl Gore Sage, age 82, a resident of Kountze, Texas, died Saturday, September 19, 2009 in Dallas, Texas.

She was born June 18, 1927 in the Walnut Springs Community. She was a nurse and was a Jehovah's Witness.

Mrs. Sage was preceded in death by her parents, Lincoln and Nell Abney Gore and one brother, Gene Gore.

She is survived by her husband, James Lewis Sage of Kountze, Texas; three sons, Rodney Sage of Alabama, Joe Sage of Arkansas and Marty Sage of Kountze, Texas; one daughter, Pamela Telkamp of Dallas, Texas; three sisters, Essie White of Saratoga, California, Beth Paschall of Jackson, Tennessee and Mary Broyles of Little River Club; 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Graveside Funeral Services for Mrs. Sage will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 23, 2009 in the Millwee Cemetery with William Ehrenberger officiating, under the direction of Wilkerson Funeral Home in De Queen.
