Marie P. Hinrichs was born May 27, 1909 in Red Lake Falls, the daughter of Claus and Lydia (Buck) Hinrichs.

She grew up in Red Lake County, Minn.

Married Harold L. Hallstrom Oct. 18, 1939, in Wylie Township, Red Lake County. They farmed near Red Lake Falls for 23 years, until retiring to Akeley, Minn., in 1962. They moved in 1982 to Red Lake Falls. He died March 13, 1983. Later in 1983, she moved to East Grand Forks, where she lived until entering the nursing home.

Marie P. Hallstrom, 79, East Grand Forks, formerly of Red Lake Falls, Minn., died 14 March 1989, in Good Samaritan Center, Larimore, N.D.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Petterson Funeral Home, Red Lake Falls.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to time of services Saturday. The family requests memorials be sent to The United Hospital Hospice program.
