Philip Ketterer, aged about 79 years, prominent resident of Wampum, died at noon today at the residence following a two weeks illness. Mr. Ketterer was for a number of years in the shoe business in Wampum but had retired about 8 years ago. He was a member of the Wampum Presbyterian church. Besides his wife he leaves three sons - Ed, of Ellwood City, Fred of Pittsburgh, and John, Wampum, and one daughter, Mrs. Bessie Ferguson of Wampum. Announcement of the funeral will be made later.
