Philip Ketterer, aged about 79 years, prominent resident of Wampum, died at noon today at the residence following a two weeks illness. Mr. Ketterer was for a number of years in the shoe business in Wampum but had retired about 8 years ago. He was a member of the Wampum Presbyterian church. Besides his wife he leaves three sons - Ed, of Ellwood City, Fred of Pittsburgh, and John, Wampum, and one daughter, Mrs. Bessie Ferguson of Wampum. Announcement of the funeral will be made later.

Funeral services for Philip Ketterer, Wampum, will be held from the residence Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Interment in Clinton cemetery.
