Sharon Curtis Steadman , beloved daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend passed away April 29, 2001. She was 64 years old.

Sharon was born on Novem-ber 11, 1936 in Riverton, Utah, to Ross S. and Annie Burgon Curtis. She was a graduate of Jordan High School. Sharon was married to her high school sweetheart, Alan J Steadman , in the Salt Lake LDS

Temple.

Sharon was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Midvale East 1st Ward. She had the opportunity to serve in various capacities, one of which was as the editor of the ward newsletter for over twenty years.

Sharon will best be remembered for her kindness, compassion, and tolerance of others, and her gift of being a good listener. She had a great love for music and enjoyed singing and playing the violin and french horn. She helped inspire within her husband and children a lifelong love and appreciation of music. She also had a soft spot in her heart for children and animals. Gardening and watching plants grow and blossom gave her much happiness.

Sharon was a true friend and confidant to all who knew her. She listened with her ears as well as her heart.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Alan J Steadman , her parents, Ross S. and Annie B. Curtis, her sister Vee Kump, and her brothers Douglas Burgon and Darwin Curtis. She is survived by her children, Curtis (Cheryl) Steadman of Las Vegas, Nevada; Kyle (Carolyn) Steadman of Bluffdale, Utah; and Shemayne (Sean) Pitts of Ely, Nevada; her grandchildren Alecia, Ryan, Matt, Troy, Austin, Amber, Zane, Spencer, Charlie,

Catherine, Jonathan, and Emily; brothers Raymond (Lorna), Guy (Donna), Dale; her sisters Frances Woolley, Beatrice Macdonald, and Ruth (Arliss) Goff; and her sister-in-law Gladys Johnson.

Sharon will be loved and missed by all. Memories of her will be cherished.

Friends may call at the Midvale East 1st LDS Church, 240 E. 7570 S. on Friday, May 4, 2001 from 12 noon -1 p.m., with funeral services beginning at 1:30 p.m. Interment, Redwood Memorial Estates.
