Elmore "Moe" Battle Jr., 53, of Danville, passed away at 8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 13, 2009, at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.
He was born to Elmore Sr. and Gwendolyn Murray-Battle on Dec. 13, 1955. He was preceded in death by his father, grandparents and a sister.
He is survived by his mother; his children, Kufanya Battle, Simon Cooley, Eljadon Battle and Destiny Battle; a special son, Ricky Dandridge; 10 grandchildren; one brother, Gregory Battle; three sisters, Jacqueline (Willie) Briggs, Danita (Eric) Keys and Delores Ann Battle and a special nephew, Shawn Briggs.
