Mr. Whitney was born Mar 4, 1908 at Ord. He was a son of Mrs Pearle Whitney of Pawnee City and the late T.J. Whitney.
On Oct 7, 1930 he was united in marriage to Miss Julia Davis at Seward. The couple lived most of their married life in Richardson County. They lived at Humboldt and Salem and for two years lived in Pawnee City.
Besides his widow and his mother, Mr. Whitney is survived by two sons Sgt Thomas Whitney, Kessler Air Force Base Biloxi Miss and Jerry Whitney of Princeton, Nebr. There is one grand child.
Funeral services for Mr. Whitney will be held at 1:30 o'clock Sunday afternoon at he Christian Church at Pawnee City. In Charge of Rev. Val Johnson. Burial will be in the Maple Cemetery at Salem where a graveside service will be held.
