Avis M. Ahart, 67, of West Fifth Street Road died Thursday at Oswego Hospital.
Mrs. Ahart was a life resident of Oswego. She retired as office manager of Weston's Department Store and previously was employed with Columbia Mills. She was a graduate of Oswego High School.
Mrs. Ahart was a member of St. Mary's Church.
Surviving are her husband, Lawrence; two daughters, Theresa and Barbara Ahart, both of Oswego; a son, Daniel of Oswego; three sisters, Helen Garno, Edna Fetterly and Lois Murray, all of Oswego; a brother, Harold Garno of Alexandria Bay; and a granddaughter.
Services will be at 8:30 a.m. Saturday at Dowdle Funeral Home and 9 a.m. in St. Mary's Church. Burial will be in St. Peter's Cemetery.
Calling hours will be 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to the organ fund of St. Mary's Church.
