Blanche Amerling
Augusta - Blance Amerling, 84, Route 1, died Monday at St, Joseph's Hospital, Chippewa Falls.
Blanche Durham was born in Isabella County, Mich., and married Jim Hitts. She later married Rudolph Amerling Dec. 31, 1938, in Shepherd, Mich. She moved to the town of Wilson in 1942, where she has lived since.
Survivors include four sons, Kenneth Hitts, Augusta, Ronald Hitts, Russell Hitts, both of Grand Rapids, Mich., Robert Hitts, Saginaw, Mich.; a daughter, Mae Zimmerman, Seward, Alaska; a brother, Blaine Stanzel, Mt. Pleasanat, Mich.; 21 grandchildren and several great-granchildren.
Services will be at 11 am Thursday at St Peter's Catholic Church, town of Wilson, with burial in the church cemetery.
Friends may call from 3 to 9 pm Wednesday at Leiser Funeral Home, Cadott, where a rosary service will be at 8 pm Wednesday.
