Benjamin Huell Wildes, 79 of Folkston, Georgia, passed away Monday, January 14, 2008 at Hospice of the Golden Isles of Brunswick, Ga.

Born to Ransel Hattress and Emma Mae Wildes, July 25, 1928, in Pierce County and had been a resident of Charlton for over 70 years.

He served his country in the United States Navy.

Survivors include: Two sisters: Mildred Ratcliff of Mandarin, Florida; Glenda Cason(Michael) of Douglasville, Georgia; Three Nieces; Six Nephews; Two Step-daughters: Marie Middleton of Seville, Fl.; Donna Scudder of Deland, Fl.; Two Step-grandchildren; 1 Step-great grandchild.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, January 16, 2008 at 11:00AM in the Chapel of Shepard Funeral Home with Rev. Gene McCullough officiating.

Interment will follow in Pineview Cemetery.

Pallbearers: J.O. Hannaford, Paul King, Paul King, Jr., Joey Cason, Tony DeAngelo and Roney Murray.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, January 16, 2008 beginning at 10:00 AM prior to the service. Donations may be made to Hospice of the Golden Isles, 1692 Glynco Parkway, Brunswick, Georgia 31525.
