454th Bomb Group, 15th Air Force.

Shot down aboard B-24H Liberator #41-29436
over Yugoslavia returning from mission to the
marshalling yards in Bucharest, and went
down at Niš (Serbia).

Killed In Action were:

1st Lt. Everett B Moreland, Co-Pilot
TSgt. Harry E Boyer, Engineer
Sgt. William B Daley, Radio Operator
Sgt. Harold E Martin, Ball Turret Gunner
Sgt. John F Warnock, Nose Gunner

Staff Sergeant Samuel J Grieco, Tail Gunner, died from injuries on a later date. Three other crew members survived and were later returned to duty.
