BARCO, Eloise K., 92, a Florida native and lifelong resident of Tampa, passed away October 14, 2009, due to comp-lications from a stroke. She passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family. She was preceded in death by two brothers, three sisters and her loving husband of 43 years, Bryant (B.A.) Barco. Survivors include her brother, Elmer Varnes and wife, Myrtle; her daughter, Evelyn Hartley and husband James; her sons, Bryant E. Barco, Dennis M. Barco and Kenneth W. Barco; her grandchildren, Teresa McLendon and husband, Greg, Cynde Davis and husband, David, Dawn Hartley, Heather Cobian and Karla Hartley and partner, Noreen Maier-Hartley; and her great -grandchildren, Jon Cobian, Sydney Hartley, Tucker Davis, Rebecca Davis and B.A. McLendon; and countless other relatives and dear friends. Eloise was an incredible sister, wife, mother and grandmother. She adored her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, with every breath she took. She was a devout Christian and was a member of Tampa Baptist Church for 65 years. She was an avid bowler, enjoyed live theater and gospel music, and served as a volunteer with Meals on Wheels for 22 years. Family members will receive loved ones at 10 a.m. Saturday, October 17, 2009, Tampa Baptist Church, 300 E. Sligh Ave. Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. Interment will be at Garden of Memories immediately following the service. Donations to the Tampa Baptist Church Mission Fund may be made in her memory and sent to Eddy Williams, Pastor, Tampa Baptist Church Swilley Funeral Home (813) 932-6157
