Carroll W. Meyer

Carroll W. Meyer, 84, of Guttenberg died Tuesday, Dec. 19, 2000 at the Guttenberg Care Center.

Services were conducted by Msgr. John McClean at 11:00 a.m. Friday, Dec. 22, at the Tuecke-Allyn Funeral Home, Guttenberg, with burial in St. Mary Cemetery, Guttenberg.

Visitation was after 10:00 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Carrol W. Meyer was born April 26, 1916, in Guttenberg, son of William and Lena (Fullman [sic]) Meyer.

Carrol graduated from the School for the Deaf in Council Bluffs and worked for a lumber mill in Dubuque for many years.

Survivors include one sister, Mildred Graybill of Sturgeon, Mo.; one brother, Earl Meyer of Guttenberg; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant brother, Clarence.
