"George Gregory Of Ralston Dies; Funeral Friday.
Had Been Resident There For Last 35 Years; 85 Years Old.
Longtime Resident Suffered Paralytic Attack Recently.
Ralston (Special). George Gregory, a resident of the Ralston vicinity since 1901, died Wednesday at the home of his son, Frank Gregory, north of Ralston. He had been ill several weeks and suffered a paralytic stroke a short time ago. He was 85 years old.
The body is at the Huffman Funeral Home in Scranton.
Funeral services will be held at Ralston at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon.
BORN IN ILLINOIS
Mr. Gregory was born at Peoria, Ill., Nov. 23, 1850. For many years he farmed in the Ralston community. His wife [nee Susan Ellen Harrison] passed away Feb. 12, 1923, and since her death he had made his home with his son, Frank Gregory.
Surviving are five sons and one daughter: Asa Gregory, Omaha; Mrs. Stella McDonald, Bottrel, Canada; Luke Gregory, Ralston; Roy Gregory, Los Angeles, Calif.; Guy Gregory, Glidden; and Frank Gregory, Ralston.
Two children, Jay Gregory and Mrs. Sarah Cooper, are deceased."
