Christopher was the son of Christopher Perky and Mary M. Mueller.
He and Elizabeth married in 1799. Christopher served in the war of 1812, and was under Gen. Harrison at Fort Meigs, and in the fall of 1819 he moved to Ohio. They lived in Perry Co. a short time, and then they moved to Fairfield County, until 1827. They moved to Seneca County in 1827.
Fayette County was created out of Westmoreland County on Sept. 26, 1783 after Christopher's birth. I believe he was born in Saltlick Township which is now Fayette County.
