John E. Mount
John E. Mount of Sea Bright died Friday morning in Monmouth Memorial Hospital at Long branch. he was 70 years old.
Mr. Mount was born in Brooklyn and came to Sea Bright at the age of 20. He had resided in that borough ever since. He was an exempt member of the Sea Bright Fire Department and an honorary member of the Rumson fire department.
Surviving are six daughters, Mrs. Theresa DeBecker of Red Bank, Mrs. L. S. Cook of South Amboy, Mrs. Arthur Burns of Fords, Mrs. Nicholas A. Havaranis of Rumson, Mrs. H. C. Bloxan of Fair Haven and Mrs. Arthur Costanzo of New York, and five sons, Jesse Mount of Maywood, William Mount of Spring Field Gardens, Long Island, Thomas Mount of Newark, John E. Mount Jr., of Fair Haven and Corlies Mount of Red Bank.
The funeral was held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the funeral parlors of R. R. Mount & Son on East Front Street, Red Bank, with Rev. Herbert S. Craig, rector of the Trinity Episcopal Church, officiating. Burial was in Fair View Cemetery, where members of the Sea Bright fire department conducted services.
