Mrs. Orem Rites to be Saturday

Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Ellen Orem, 77, of Martinsburg who died Tuesday in Paterson, N.J., will be held Saturday at 2 p.m., at Kogelschatz and Coffman Funeral Home in Martinsburg. Msgr. F. P. Lackey will conduct the services.

Pallbearers will be Charles S. Crisman, Jr., Marshall F. Crisman, Robert D. Flagg, Claude S. Flagg, Robert L. Kilmer, Jr., James Wilson, Jack W. Bowers and Bruce Bowers, all nephews and grandsons of Mrs. Orem.

Burial will be in Rosedale Cemetery in Martinsburg.

Mrs. Orem was born in Martinsburg, a daughter of the late J. W. and Mary Ellen Barker Bowers and was a lifelong resident of that city.

Surviving are eight children by a former marriage to the late E. A. Hobbs, Sgt J. Leonard Hobbs, USA, in Germany; Gail H. Hobbs of Trenton, N.J.; Ray G Hobbs, Chicago, Ill.; W. M. Hobbs, Paterson, N.J.; Mrs. Dorsey Flagg, Mrs. Mary H Moshberg and Mrs. Robert L. Kilmer, all of Martinsburg and Mrs. Charles Crisman of this city; three brothers, James H. Bowers and John W. Bowers of Frederick, Md.; Nelson Bowers of Baltimore; two sisters, Mrs. W. L. Ramsburg of Washington and Mrs. Richard Lamar of Baltimore, 19 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren
