Alva Hartley Bannister, age 82, of Prattville (formerly of Oneonta), died February 21, 2006. She was a retired Insurance Coordinator w/doctors office. Worked for Dr. Gordon and Patton for 35 years. Attended Oneonta Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by parents, Terry and Clara Hartley; husband, Ralph Miles Bannister (Banty); sisters, Helen Brand and Annie Taylor; brothers, Charles, Dan and James Hartley.
Funeral Services will be held Friday, February 24, at 11 a.m. at Lemley Chapel with burial in Oak Hill Cemetery, Oneonta. Stanley Freeman officiating.
