V.B. West, 80, of 7204 Jameson, died Friday.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today in N.S. Griggs Pioneer Chapel with Dr. Winfred Moore, of First Baptist Church, officiating. Private burial will follow.
Mr. West, born in Erath County, moved to Amarillo in 1936. He was active in the oil and gas industry as a minerals dealer for more than 50 years. He was a member and deacon of First Baptist Church. He married Clara Mae Pitts in 1934 in Borger.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Carol Miller of Amarillo; a sister, Lou Everett of Amarillo; and three grandchildren.
