She was born November 8, 1943, in Union County, AR, to G.W. Saulsbury and Maude Lovelace. Billie was a devoted homemaker, who enjoyed gardening, crafts and collectibles. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Smackover.
Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Clay Everett Yarbrough; sons, Robert and Scott Shewmake; daughter, Susan Shewmake; sisters, Louise Ford and Betty Jo Bradley; and brothers, Roy and George Saulsbury.
Survivors include a son, Kelly Shewmake of Royse City, TX; daughter, Lisa Casillas and husband Paul of Grandbury, TX; brother, Pete Saulsbury and wife Carolyn of Smackover, AR; sisters, Grace Schultz of Austin, TX, and Helen White and husband Morris of Norphlet, AR; grandchildren, Kelly Michelle Shewmake, John Scott Shewmake, Emma Shewmake, Andrew Shewmake, Brandon Mooney, Briana Turner, Bryce Casillas, Dustin Shewmake and Torey Shewmake; and great-grandchild, Braxton Turner.
Funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, October 15, 2009, at Young's Chapel with Bro. Allen White officiating. Burial followed at Smackover Cemetery under the direction of Young's Funeral Directors.
