Mrs. Rachel A. Biddick was born in Diamond Grove on Aug. 13, 1849, and died March 14, 1907, being 58 years, 7 months and 1 day old. Deceased, whose maiden name was Rachel A. Haines, was married to Geo. R. Biddick in the year 1871 and of this union there were born 9 children, six of whom are living: Mrs. J.H. McDermott, Mrs. George Doan, Mrs. Isaac Jackson, Fred G., Geo. L., and Daniel C. Besides these there are left two sisters, Mrs. N.J. Kuehn of S. Dakota and Mrs. M.E. Fitzsimons of Nebraska, and seven grandchildren, who mourn the departure of a loving and kind mother.
