Born in Atlanta GA his parents were the late, Major Hubbard and Mary Klaus,
Mr. Pitts served in the US Army, is a member of the VFW and Mt. Zion Methodist Church. He retired from FP & L after a over 20 year career.
His family includes his wife of 43 years, Helen T. Pitts; children, Robin Pitts Brown, Tammie Pitts Leonard, Charles W. Pitts Jr. and Jason Pitts; grandchildren, Latrailya M. Hunter, Jaylen R. Pitts, Tamara B. Greene, Charles W. Pitts III, Joshua L. Pitts, Tina L. Pitts, Deonte R. Pitts and Donnie R. Brown, Jr.; many great grandchildren; brothers, James Pitts and Roy Edward Hood; and his sister, Elaine Barge.
Funeral Information: No services are planned Mr. Pitts will be inurned at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell FL.
