Everett Don Bentel (82) died Friday evening, 15 Nov 1985, in Bannock Regional Medical Center following an illness.
He was born 16 Feb 1903 in Hobart, Oklahoma, to John M. and Eva Bentel. As a young child he moved to Idaho Falls where he attended schools. He moved to Pocatello about 1920.
On 11 Sep 1924 he married Ruby M. Sorensen in Pocatello, and they owned and operated a dairy farm on Tyhee flats until his retirement in 1977.
He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and enjoyed farming, animals, and the outdoors.
Survivors include his wife of Pocatello; two sons, Earl Don and John Hans Bentel, both of Pocatello; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.
Funeral services held Tuesday, 19 Nov 1985, at 1:00 p.m. at Manning Funeral Chapel with Bishop George Hoge of the Pocatello LDS 37th Ward officiating. Burial is in the Mountanview Cemetery.
