Thomas E. Redd, died last night at his home, West Washington street, following an eight days' illness of influenza and typhoid pneumonia. Two other members of the family are also seriously ill, John W. Redd, and the decedent's wife, Mrs. Margaret Redd.
He was a well known resident of the city and had always been a resident of Springfield. He was connected with his father in the feed business, with an office at East Washington street.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Margaret Redd; his father, John W. Redd; one brother, A. W. Redd, city circulation manager of The State Journal; three sisters, Mrs. Julia Reeves, Mrs. Gertrude Eaton, and Mrs. Sarah McGann of Wichita, Kan.
