Dora Cate, age 87 of Kodak, went home to be with the Lord on the evening of Saturday July 30, 2016. She was a member of French Broad Valley Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Reed Cate and infant daughter, Patsy Sue Cate.

Survivors Daughter and son-in-law: Doris and Bill Underwood Grandchildren Jered Underwood and wife Beth, Amy Woody and husband Joe; Great Grandchildren: Peyton and Cameron Woody, Maddi and Megan Underwood Sisters-in-law: Gloria Huskey, Gene Whaley, Juanita Cate, Golda Catlett, Louise Kelly; Several nieces, nephews, cousins and special family members including Pat and Joanne Simpson;

The family would like to extend a heart felt thank you to devoted friend Georgeanna Morgan for all her love and support, as well as to the amazing staff at Sevierville Health and Rehab Center for all of their care and kindness they showed while Dora was at their facility.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Tennessee, Inc., East TN Office, 5801 Kingston Pike Knoxville, TN 37919.

Family and friends will meet 11 AM Tuesday at Underwood Cemetery for graveside service and interment with Bill Underwood and Rev. Fred Heard officiating. Arrangements by Atchley Funeral Home, Sevierville.
