He married Lela Jenson on June 1, 1944, in Salt Lake City. The marriage was later solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple.
He was a lifelong resident of Bear River City where he was educated.
He owned and operated his farm in Bear River City and a cattle ranch in Soda Springs, Idaho.
He was a member of the Utah State Farm Bureau and the Utah Cattlemen's Association.
He was a former member and director of the Bear River City Town Board.
He had been president and vice president of the Acme Water Co.
He was an Elder in the Bear River 2nd LDS Ward. He had served in the past as a member of the building committee and as a home teacher.
Surviving are his widow of Bear River City; one son, Fred J Andersen, Bountiful; thee grandchildren; one brother, Lester Andersen, Bear River City.
Services were held Monday at the Bear River LDS Ward Chapel with Bishop O. Nelson officiating.
Internment in the Bear River City Cemetery.
