Graveside services for Vallie Martin, 96, of Lubbock, will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Resthaven Memorial Park with the Rev. John Ballard officiating.

Arrangements are under the direction of Resthaven Funeral Home.

She died Thursday, Oct. 25, 2001.

She was born May 10, 1905, in Erick, Okla. She married W.L. Martin on May 5, 1921, in Erick. He died in 1963. She attended school in Erick. She was a self-employed bookkeeper for the couple's auto repair shop and was a homemaker. She was a resident of Lubbock since 1929.

She was a member of First Baptist Church.

She is survived by two sons, Joe Bob and Jerry Don, both of Lubbock; seven grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
