SMITH, Maria Frances MONTGOMERY - Mrs. Maria Frances Montgomery Smith, wife of Edgar James Smith of Bentonville, died at the family home here last Wednesday after a short attack of heart trouble. Funeral services were held at the home on Thursday afternoon, the Rev. R.S. Hayden, pastor of the M.E. Church, South officiating. Burial followed in the City Cemetery. Mrs. Smith was born near Stockton, Mo. Surviving are her husband, a son, Lawrence, of the city and two daughters, Mrs. David Eking of Bethany, Ill. and Miss Fern Smith of St. Louis, Mo., five grandchildren, two sisters, Mrs.T.J. Hartley and Mrs. R.T. Phillips and a brother, T.R. Montgomery.
