Services Monday for J. J. Wolfe

Clark - Funeral services for J.J. Wolfe, 85, will be held Monday at 2 p.m. in the Methodist Church, Clark. He died at his home Dec. 2.

The body is at Nash Funeral Home. The Rev. Harry C. Ernst will officiate. Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery.

He was born in Country Cork, Ireland in 1870. He was married to Lillie A. Thompson in 1903 at Doland. He came to Clark County at an early age and homesteaded in Lincoln Township where he farmed until 1942 when he retired and moved to Clark. He has been a resident of Clark for 70 years.

He was a member of the Odd Follows, AF and AM.

Surviving are his widow; two sons, Emerson J. Wolfe of Volga and John W. Logan of Utah; three daughters, Mrs. Erick Pierson, Corvallis, Ore., Mrs. C.J. Huffman, Harrisburg, S.D., Mrs. Roy Cochrane, Indianapolis, Ind.; one sister, Mrs. Thomas Simpson, Monrovia, Calif.; 16 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, and four sisters.
