She married John David Leverett Sr. June 28, 1925 and they had 2 sons: John David Leverett, Jr. and Edward Raymond Leverett M.D. She had 8 grandchildren and several great grand children.
Mrs. Leverett worked for years at the Davidson's and Rich's Department Store in downtown Atlanta in "ready to wear". Before every school year started,she would take her grand daughters to shop for new school clothes and a bit of candy before leaving Rich's.
Died of congestive heart failure, with complications from diabetes.
