LILLIAN G. THOMPSON, 90
Lillian G. Thompson, 90, of Valley, died Wednesday, August 11, 1999, at Elkhorn Manor in Elkhorn.
Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, August 14, 1999, at the Arlington Cemetery. The Rev. Shirley Schmidt will officiate.
Lillian G. Thompson was born November 15, 1908, to McClellan and Emma (Loges) Willison in rural Fontanelle. Growing up near Arlington, she attended school there.
On October 10, 1933, she married Lawrence Thompson in Iowa.
After her marriage, she lived most of her life at Valley, where she and her husband farmed. She was also employed at the former Campbell’s Soup Co. in Fremont for 15 years.
She is survived by her five sons and daughters-in-law, James and Rhoda Thompson of Arvada, Colo.; Gary Thompson, Tom and Linette Thompson and John Thompson, all of Valley; and Paul and Mary Ellen Thompson of Omaha; two daughters and sons-in-law, Virginia and Dale Hansen of Sailboat Holiday Island, Ark.; and Mary Lehman of Grand Island; 13 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband who died in 1975; a brother, John Wilison; and a sister, Bertha Wilison.
Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont is in charge of arrangements.
