Originally an Archibald Offutt (1778-1833) and a Jane Offutt (1782 - 1842) were connected as Robert's parents however they were in Kentucky, not in Georgia. Based on research that I have conducted, as well as information collected by others that was incorrect. Robert's parents were Archibald and Mary (Ayers) Offutt. As far as I have been able to tell Robert, and his parents were all Georgia born based on the 1850 Census. The memorial was transferred to me and I have removed those two individuals as parents.
