He was born Dec 29, 1882, in Wakarusa.
In 1898, he married Josephine Hull. She died in 1948.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs Marie Olson, Blythe, Calif; Mrs Leska Haggerty, Dunlap, and Mrs Bertis Berry, Elkhart; a son, Clarence, Elkhart, and 10 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
Services will be held at 2:30 pm Saturday at the Walley Funeral Home in charge of Rev Carl E Benander, pastor of Augustana Lutheran Church.
Burial will be in Osceola Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 5 pm today.
