Son of Floyd Roseman and Chloe Layton Grogg. He married Hazel Arning in Centralia, Ill., on April 13, 1941. She died in 1957 in Washington. Floyd later married Betty Cox on Feb. 11, 1965, in Peoria. She survives.

Also surviving are seven children, Dell (Gwen) Grogg, Phillip (Lisa) Grogg, Richard (Jennifer) Grogg, Hope (Rocky) Elbert, David Grogg, Kathryn Kempton and Susan (Jim) Smith; one brother, Kenneth Grogg; three sisters, Dorthalea Ledtrone, Naomi Piccou and Carol (Tom) Graham; 13 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

He also was preceded in death by one brother and two sisters.

Floyd was a 58-year member of Steamfitters Local No. 353, retiring in 1983.

He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Marine Corps in the Pacific Theatre and on Okinawa.
