A graduate of the Old Fort high school, Mrs. Allison attended two years of business school at Gardner-Webb in Shelby, N.C.
She worked from 1971 to 1976 with the PG County Board of Education as an aide for special education children.
She was married on March 3, 1948, to Paul Allison. The couple had moved to Davidsonville three years ago to be near family.
Mrs. Allison enjoyed old music, played the piano and was an animal lover.
Surviving are her daughter, Tanje A. Sears of Davidsonville; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
The family received friends at Mount Zion United Methodist Church, Lothian, where a memorial service was held. Arrangements are by Taylor Funeral Home.
