Braun, Alice Barnes age 78 of Walland. We celebrate the life of Alice who passed away at Fort Sanders Hospital, Saturday, October 10, 2009. She was of the Presbyterian faith. Her true loves were her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Next was her love of animals and gardening. She was a volunteer at Blount Memorial Hospital, a member of the Blount County Garden Club and a member of the Ramsey House Historic Society. She was preceded in death by her father, Percival Clinton Barnes II; mother, Dorthea Nall Barnes and brother, Percival Clinton Barnes III. Survivors include her 7 children, Kathleen Ann Braun, Lawrence James Braun & wife, Janice Lynn, Linda Susan Braun-Coakley & husband, James, David Anheuser Braun & wife, Cindy, Cheryl Braun Frow, Jacque Kay Braun & Jeanne Marie Whitehead & husband Ray; 15 grandchildren, Christopher Michael Braun, April Nichole Braun, Chase Anheuser Kanoa Coakley, Jamie Lei Coakley, Helen Maranda Braun, Whitney Rhea Maddox, Lydia Anheuser Braun, Allen Scott Effler, Catherine Alice Kirkland Stephens, Autumn Nicole Giroux, Jeremiah Chance York, Jessica Ray Whitehead, Rebecca Kay Whitehead, Elisabeth Kristine Whitehead and Lonnie Khalil Whitehead; 12 great-grandchildren, Kameron Maddox Rainey, Christian Mae Effler, Lilly Ashlyn Reuss, Garrison Wayne Stephens, Sabrina Sunshine Soorty, Allie Kay-Lynne Giroux, Ella Anastasia York, Angelina Christina York, Ava Juliana York, Richard Keenan Sudderth, Kobe Ray Sudderth and Daniel Glen Hemberee.
