Funeral services for Mrs. Effie May Caudle, widow of the late Elmer E. Caudle, who died early Thursday in her home, 917 West Green street, will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday in the Dawson & Wikoff Chapel with burial in Long Point cemetery.
Mrs. Caudle was 66 years old. Born March 31, 1873 in Vandalia, she moved to Decatur 31 years ago. She married Dec. 24, 1896 in Vandalia to Mr. Caudle, who preceded her in death.
Mrs. Caudle leaves two daughters, Mrs. Erma E Fesler of Decatur and Mrs.Lena W Claypool, of Niantic; one son, Ray Caudle of Decatur; three sisters, Mrs. Corda Taylor of Vandalia, Mrs. Maude Lindsey of Aberdeen, S.D. and Miss Mabel Whittlock of Aurora; and eight grandchildren.
