Beloved son of Alva Leslie Marshburn and Lillian Davis Marshburn. He served in the US Army in Vietnam and Korea. He was the husband of Gillette Louise Chouchard from France and then Yoko Sugako Nakano from Japan. He passed away from injuries sustained in an automobile accident in front of his house at Tar Landing when a trailer came loose from a truck and struck his car on the driver's door. They had no children. He is deeply missed.
