Mr. Alexander served as an Air Force Pilot in World War I, and was Editor of the former Paris Mercury in Paris, Mo., for 15 years. In 1943, the family moved to Washington D. C. where he was employed with the government printing office for several years, then he was in the brokerage business. He was survived by his wife, 3 sons and 3 daughters, 12 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren.
